Staff members at Kaiji Press are always in pursuit of specialty and the information value. As the corporate name indicates, Kaiji Press has its roots in the maritime industry. Starting with the publication of a daily trade journal, Kaiji Press has constantly polished its ability to transmit information by publishing periodical magazines & books and post information/ news on the Internet. Its professionalism nurtured in the maritime industry has spread its scope to air cargo trade, leisure by cruise ships and so forth.

"Nikkan Kaiun Zosen Sokuho" (predecessor of "Kaiji Press") was inaugurated. |

English-language "Daily Shipping & Shipbuilding Gazette" (predecessor of English-language "Kaiji Press") was inaugurated. |
1979 |
"Nikkan Koku Boeki" was inaugurated. |
1980 |
"Kaiji Press Quarterly on Shipbuilding" (predecessor of "KP DATA") was inaugurated. |
1981 |
A 25th anniversary supplement on Kaiji Press Co. was published. |
1982 |
"Quarterly Kaiji Press" (predecessor of "COMPASS") was inaugurated. |

Quarterly "CARGO" was inaugurated.
